Bleacher Report’s Eric Pincus talked to several NBA execs, and one of the said that Brandon Ingram is probably the star player to be traded.

The Lakers lost the match against the Washington Wizards, but they played really well this season.

The Western Conference is really tight at the moment. The Denver Nuggets are at the top of the table, and the New Orleans Pelicans are six games back. That’s why many experts said that the Lakers will probably hit the Conference Finals.

According to latest reports, the team may trade for a player before the deadline in order to boost their roster and provide a deep playoff push.

The Lakers firsts aid that they will not trade one of their talented players. However, it seems like Ingram is the first young player to go. “The Lakers are in win-now mode,”an NBA agent said in an interview for Bleacher Report.

“Everything is on the table to appease LeBron. They’re going to make moves to bring in vets who fit around James. I think they wait until the summer to look into a big move involving a player like Ingram. That gives them more time to get the best deal.”

“1-A in a package for a big-time player after the season. Hart or Kuzma would probably need to be the 1-B,” another exec said.

Ingram struggled this season, and Kyle Kuzma stepped in.

“Ingram will probably be traded at some point, whether it’s for a second or third star,” an NBA front-office exec said.
