NBA Media Reacts To Lakers Win Over Suns

The Los Angeles Lakers had a slow start to the game against the Phoenix Suns, but they managed to sort things out in the second quarter. The team celebrated their grand victory at the Staples Center.

NBA experts focused on the final score, and sure had a few nice comments to say about LeBron James and the rest of the guys.

“This is kind of why you have a guy like Michael Beasley. Every so often he’ll give you a spark with a few good minutes because of his aggression offensively. Seeing that today.”

“LeBron James (22 PTS, 8 AST, 6 REB) and Kyle Kuzma (23 PTS, 8 REB) pace the @Lakers 3rd straight W, defeating PHX at Staples Center!#LakeShow 120#TimeToRise 96

Brandon Ingram: 15 PTS
JaVale McGee: 14 PTS, 8 REB”

“I was horrendous in the first quarter and I told my team it was all my wrong doing. Four turnovers and I wasn’t as engaged as I should have been. It resulted us in not having a good first quarter at all. You take responsibility and then you reload. You hit the reset button and I am my own biggest critic. I know the first quarter I had and it resulted in us playing poor basketball. I hit the reset button and knew I would be much better when I got back in the game. Back-to-back home games doesn’t happen very often,” LeBron said after the game with Dallas.

The king is still concerned about his role in the team. “That’s the challenge I’ve been kind of battling with since the season started. How much do I defer and allow some of our young guys to figure out, and how much do I try to take over games? I think tonight was one of those instances where they looked at me and wanted me to close the game, and I just tried to make plays,” he said.
