New England Patriots Releases Wednesday Practice Report

There are a few playoff scenarios set in place for New England, and there is a great chance that they reach the No. 1 seed in the conference. The Patriots have to defeat the New York Jets this Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs have to lose the game to the Oakland Raiders, and the Denver Broncos have to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs and Patriots will be 11-5 on the regular season. The Patriots have a tiebreaker over the Chiefs after the Week 6 win, and that brings him ahead of Kansas City.

New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson was back on the practice field Wednesday after leaving Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills with a knee injury.

After suffering a knee injury over the weekend, Patterson was present for the beginning of the Patriots’ walkthrough. Players were not in jerseys for the non-padded session, though most were accounted for including every offensive and defensive starter. Patterson was the only player officially sidelined Sunday due to injury.

Patterson, who racked up 66 rushing yards on four carries before his injury, briefly exited toward the locker room before returning and spending the remainder of the game on the sideline. He has played in every game this season.

The Patriots did not wear practice jerseys during Wednesday’s walkthrough, making it difficult to decipher which players were present and which were not. Exact attendance will become clear when the team releases its injury report Wednesday afternoon.

New England’s first injury report this week will be released late Wednesday afternoon. Linebacker Brandon King was the only player listed on the team’s final injury report last week.

New England is preparing to host the New York Jets on Sunday in its regular-season finale.
