Patriots Release Final Injury Report Before Game Vs. Dolphins

The New England Patriots will enter their Week 14 game relatively healthy. Reporters spotted every player on the active roster practicing this week. Nobody was listed as “out” on the team’s final injury report.

But, something changed. New England confirmed that tight end Dwayne Allen is now “out,” and he will miss the game against the Miami Dolphins due to his knee injury. The Patriots’ injury report can change overnight.

Allen is unavailable now, but tight end Rob Gronkowski is here to help the team block and pass. Gronk is not playing his best football, and his numbers are down. The tight numbers may be down, but his blocking is as awesome as it used to be throughout his professional career. Gronkowski is one of the league’s best players when it comes to blocking defenders away from the team’s play.

Fullback James Develin had a couple of rushing touchdowns in the game against the Minnesota Vikings. He can also have an increased snap count, especially in his running game. Allen will not join his team due the knee injury he suffered in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans. The good news is that he will hit the field in near future.

Stephon Gilmore traveled to Miami, and his case will probably be fixed through a game-time decision. The cornerback was the second player to be added to Friday’s injury report due to an ankle injury he suffered during practice. Gilmore was questionable for today’s game, but he accompanied his teammates, so we are waiting for some good news regarding his activity.

If Gilmore is out, the team will use J.C. Jackson throughout the game. The undrafted rookie was great as the number three cornerback in the game against the Vikings. We will not be a surprise to see the star cornerback play full today.
