Shannon Sharpe Makes Bold Prediction On How Much Longer Tom Brady Will Play

Tom Brady is the hottest topic these days, and we have NFL experts raging about his future plans. What will the quarterback do next? How long will he play? Shannon Sharpe has an interesting point of view, but we do not think that Patriots fans would agree with him on that one.

Shannon Sharpe said that 2019 is Tom Brady’s final season with the New England Patriots.

Brady went on WEEI this week, and talked about his career plans. If you ask the GOAT, he will say that retirement is not even an option.

“I absolutely believe I will. I know I’ve talked about it for a long time. I have goals to play not only next year, but beyond that, and I’m going to try to do it as best I possibly can. I’m going to give it my all like I always have. It’ll certainly be a challenge. I don’t take any of these things for granted. But I hope I can keep playing, and I hope I can keep playing at a championship level,” the quarterback told Jim Gray.

Shannon doubts that, and believes that Brady does not have a long-term future with the Patriots. He even said that the head coach will have to leave in order for the quarterback to play beyond 2019.

“I believe Tom Brady plays one more year in New England. Now I believe if he’s going to play longer than that, one or two things need to happen, and that is Coach Belichick leaves. … We had the same dilemma with Joe Montana and Coach Bill Walsh,” Sharpe said.

Brady keeps convincing us that he will play into his mid-40s, and we have guys like Sharpe coming out with their claims. Is Brady really going to play until 45? There is one way to find out.
