The King: LeBron James Wins Major Award

LeBron James did not add a fourth NBA Finals trophy to his awesome collection, but 2018 was an excellent year for him, and now he is getting an award for that.

The Associated Press reported that King James was named their Male Athlete of the Year. This makes it the third time that LeBron has been honored this way. Well, people know how to recognize real success, right? LeBron is an important figure in the world of sports, and that’s why he got this award.

LeBron has every right to say that 2018 was excellent for his career, both on and off the court. The king carried the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals and funded a huge project that resulted in the opening a public school for at-risk youth in his hometown Akron, Ohio. LeBron also launched a new television series, and you can watch that on HBO.

But, LeBron also got the attention of President Donald Trump, and even got into a catfight with him. The king has constructed a platform for himself, and he wants his voice to be heard. He will talk about whatever pops in his mind, and does not shred words when it comes to talking about those who do wrong according to him.

LeBron always gets people’s attention, and he even shared his opinion about NFL owners. That’s just how he rolls.

“In the NFL they got a bunch of old white men owning teams and they got that slave mentality. And it’s like, ‘This is my team. you do what the f*** I tell y’all to do. Or we get rid of y’all.’ The players are who make the ship go. We make it go. Every Sunday, without Todd Gurley and without Odell Beckham Jr., without those players, those guys, there is no football. Ant it’s the same in the NBA,” LeBron said during his HBO show.
