Tony Romo Makes Bold Statement About Bill Belichcik During Patriots-Steelers Broadcast

Tony Romo is probably one of the greatest fans of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

Belichick is the ultimate coach in the NFL, and he left Tony Romo speechless on Sunday at Heinz Field.

In the second quarter, the Patriots had a fourth-and-one at their 41-yard line and 51 seconds left of the game. The clock was ticking, and the head coach decided to send out the offense in order to bring the Pittsburgh Steelers offsides. The clock kept ticking, and Brady and his teammates sprinted off the field as the punt squad came on. The Seelers were confused by this move, and let time slip down their hands without using a timeout.

Romo was amazed of the genius move Belichick pulled off.

Pittsburgh players let time slip down their hands and had no other choice but leave the field with a 14-7 lead. It was not bad, they won the game, but it was not good either.

Well some said that Romo was a bit too pro-Steelers.

“Tony Romo is generally very good, but he is so opening rooting for the Steelers to win this game. He’s downright giddy wheneve rthere’s a big play in Pittsburgh’s favor,” Adam Kaufman tweeted.

But, that does not change the fact that Belichick did a good job out there.

The Patriots head coach has nothing but words of praise for the Steelers. He always had.

“I’d say kind of the more I’ve watched the Steelers this week, the more impressed I am. The way they play, they’re really well-coached, they’ve had so many end-of-the-game, end-of-the-half situations that they’re very productive and efficient with, and Coach Tomlin does a great job with the clock management, with the play selection — just doing the right plays in the right situations and executing them well,” he said last year.
