Watch: Adam Thielen, Bill Belichick Exchange Words Late In Game

The Minnesota Vikings will not have a lot to celebrate after this game, as they are losing grip on the game. Adam Thielen is probably going to have nightmares after his exchange with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

Latavius Murray’s run was ruled a first down, and Belichick decided to throw the challenge flag on the play. It was assisted by Patrick Chung, and the Patriots had more time to challenge this play. Adam Thielen had his very “special” exchange with Belichick right there, on the field.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss managed to recap some of the words they said to each other.

“’From the lip-reading department:

Adam Thielen (yelling in referee’s direction, close to Bill Belichick, after Belichick threw challenge flag but had extra time ase Patrick Chung was injured): ‘That’s bull—‘

Bill Belichick (looking in Thielen’s direction): ‘Shut the f— up.”‘

The New England Patriots scored the first ten points of this game on a one-yard run from fullback James Devlin. Stephen Gostkowski surprised everyone with his field goal.

The Minnesota Vikings got their opportunity to score through the 48-yard field goal attempt from Dan Bailey that went wide left, and this is his sixth miss of the regular season since joining the Vikings family in Week 3. Thielen’s touchdown could bring the game into a 10-7 score in favor of the Pats.

Bailey had a field goal that tied the result at 10-10 in the third quarter of the game. The New England Patriots started to pull away from there. Their precious Josh Gordon scored on his 24-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tom Brady to reach the 17-10 lead. Fullback James Develin extended this lead to 24-10.

New England opened as 7.5-point favorites, but this line was brought to six points. The Patriots are dominant in the series, and they are getting better.
