WATCH: Josh Gordon Hauls In 24-Yards Touchdown

Josh Gordon is too precious for the New England Patriots at the moment. The team had just 35 seconds of their third quarter, and quarterback Tom Brady managed to connect with Gordon for his brilliant 24-yard touchdown to bring his team up 17-10 over the Minnesota Vikings.

The drive ended the same way it started as Tom Brady and his teammates started the four-play, 75 yard touchdown drive with Gordon’s 24-yard snag. This was his very first catch of the game as he was really shy throughout the game.

The quarterback completed 21 of his 28 passes for 287 yards and his touchdown. This score broke the tie in the contest, and it was great for Brady, too. This touchdown was his 508th pass of his professional career which brings him up with Brett Favre for the third most in a regular season. This pass was the quarterback’s 579 touchdown pass in regular seasons and playoffs, which brings him up to Peyton Manning for the most passes of all-time.

However, Brady and his new record are the stars of the day as the quarterback managed to cross the 1,000 yard rushing mile-marker in his football career. The quarterback was really focused on reaching this milestone, and this makes him the slowest player to hit this record.

When it comes to the ground game, the New England Patriots were able to rush for 93 yards in the game and a score thanks to James Develin.

This win is more than necessary for new England as it will mark their way throughout the rest of the season. They had a really nice control over the game in the first half, so maybe they do have a great chance to win this game. They are the Super Bowl team, remember? Let’s see how will they do tonight.
