Report: Lakers Diagnose Kyle Kuzma’s Injury

Kyle Kuzma has an important role on the Lakers roster. Everyone knows that he is one of the most important young talents on the team. Many young Lakers were linked with trade rumors, but that was not the case of Kuzma.

The second-year forward scores nicely, but did not have much luck in developing the other parts of his game. However, Kyle Kyzma has an incredible positional versatility which gives him an incredible power this season. Head coach Luke Walton used this ability to build creative lineup around the young player.

Kuzma has three more years of his bargain rookie contract, and his presence is important in every game. However, Kuzma did not have much luck in the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder as he suffered a lower back contusion. The Los Angeles Lakers announced that the young talent is questionable to return on the court.

This does not change the fact that Kuzma has a neat injury history. He did not have to deal with too many health problems during his collegiate game at Utah. Kuzma played in 77 games as a rookie player for the Los Angeles Lakers, and only suffered minor injuries. He was out of one game against the Golden State Warriors due to back issues, but that was just a false alarm. Kuzma missed the final three games of the season due to a sprained ankle. However, this is a common injury and does not recur. Kuzma is a healthy player, and we do hope that he will get better soon.

Basketball players and athletes in general are not safe from injuries. It may happen at every point of the game or the practice. We can be optimists thanks to Kuzma’s injury history, and let’s just wait for the team to make another statement on his condition.
