Lakers Thrown Huge Curveball By Raptors, This Could Change Everything

The Los Angeles Lakers are put in the same sentence with Bradley Beal at the moment, but the Toronto Raptors have a huge surprise for LeBron James’ team.

Sean Deveney of Sporting News said that the Washington Wizards will ask for two players and two draft picks to part ways with Beal. The Wizards will have to make a tough decision in the next four weeks. Will they trade Beal? That trade will help them start again, and do things better. The team is at 15-24 in the Eastern Conference and the playoffs are so far away from the moment. The Raptors will get involved, that’s a sure bet.

John Wall is out for the regular season, and the Wizards do not have much choice. They may move Beal as so many teams are interested in his skills.

The Lakers were linked with the 25-year-old player, but the Raptors could make a shocking move for Beal.

“There’s been chatter about the Raptors pursuing Wizards guard Bradley Beal, but Washington wants two players and two draft picks for him, according to sources. That would cost the team budding star Pascal Siakam and wing OG Anunoby, plus some filler salary and two future first-round draft picks. The Raptors already owe this year’s pick to the Spurs, and they would have to persuade Washington to take a pick as far out as 2023,” Denevey wrote.

He suggested that Toronto should probably go after Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jeff Teague, Devin Harris or J.J. Barea.

However, Denevey believes that the best deal for Toronto includes creating a package and trade for Jeremy Lin from the Atlanta Hawks.

The Raptors need a huge star as Kyle Lowry is injured. He missed 10 contests due to a back issue. The team struggled a lot with this, and Lowry played just once since Dec. 12.
