Shaquille O’Neal Makes Stunning Lakers Trade Demand About Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis has been linked with the Los Angeles Lakers for quite some time, but Shaquille O’Neal has something else to say.

Shaquille told Davis to sign the supermax contract extension he will be offered and say ‘no’ to the Los Angeles Lakers. This may put an to the speculation about his future plans.

The Pelicans will offer Davis a five-year supermax contract extension worth $240 million. However, sources said that Davis plans to reject the deal and head to Los Angeles.

Davis said he is more interested in joining a winning team than money, and that just added to the pressure Pelicans live with at the moment. The Pelicans star also signed a deal with LeBron’s agent Rich Paul. But, Shaq actually challenged Davis to stay with the Pelicans and help them win.

“He will be dumb not to. If you’re half the player that people you think you are then you should do it. You should stay and recruit people to come to play with. He’s not going to get $240m anywhere else. And $240m in Louisiana stretches longer than $240m in California,” Shaq said.

“$240m in California, you may as well bring that down to $120m because that’s how much you’re going to be getting. They taking half, trust me I know for a fact. He shouldn’t leave. If you’re the man like everybody thinks you are, bring them out of ruins.”

This changes the story involving Davis, the Lakers and Pelicans. Will Davis take Shaq’s advice? Will he be better in New Orleans? The Lakers have huge plans for their roster, and LeBron James already expressed his interest in sharing the same court with Davis. We do not have much info about the future development of events, but we do believe that Davis will make a smart move.
