Bill Belichick Stares Down Media Member After Ignorant Question

Reporters know what it is like to step on Bill Belichick’s foot, especially when they ask a silly question. if you are going to ask the Patriots head coach a question, you better get ready for the answer.

During the Wednesday press conference before the AFC Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Bill Belichick talked to media members. One of the reporters asked him if there are any similarities between start receiver Kennan Allen and Williams. Well, this reporter sure got himself into a trouble.

“Williams?” the head coach asked to which the reporter said, “Wide receiver.”

Here comes the drama

Belichick went on saying that, “there’s two of them.” The head coach answered the question, but could not miss the chance to stare down the reporter. He was even shaking his head.

“Look, they have a very good receiving group,” Belichick said. “They’re big, they’re fast, they’re hard to tackle after the catch, they make big plays down the field. Both the Williams’, I think they’re averaging about 15 yards a catch, something like that. [Travis] Benjamin’s obviously an explosive guy that can score from anywhere on the field. Keenan Allen’s as good a receiver there is in the National Football League – big, quick, tough after the catch, hard guy to tackle, very good route runner, an exceptional route runner, great hands, concentration.

“So, I mean, they have a great group of receivers, good group of tight ends, good group of backs, and he uses all of them. It’s not one guy you’ve got to stop. Clearly, Allen’s been the most productive receiver by far, but I mean, I wouldn’t take anything away from any of those other guys.”

The Williams are sort of similar as they have almost the same stature and identical numbers for the season. Mike totaled 43 catches for 664 yards and 10 touchdowns and Tyrell had 41 catches for 653 yards and five touchdowns.
