Watch: Michael Beasley Went Off on Karl-Anthony Towns in Apparent NSFW Tirade

The Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves played at Target Center, and things got really heated during the second quarter. Lakers forward Michael Beasley had something “nice” to say about Karl-Anthony Towns as he was making his way to the bench.

Both Beasley and Towns are passionate players and they leave their soul on the court. Sometimes this turns into a verbal exchange.

The match was never close, and the Minnesota Timberwolves had a 35-19 first quarter lead. It was a safe score, and the game ended up 108-86 in favor of the Timberwolves. Karl-Anthony Towns had a brilliant game. he scored 28 points and had 18 rebounds, two steals and four blocks. Michael Beasley on the other hand, was not that awesome, and he scored 11 points. He was able to turn the ball over five times.

There is a growing tension in the Los Angeles Lakers locker room. The players had lost three matches in a row, and players really struggled on the offensive end. The Lakers played without LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma, and are now at the eighth seed in the Western Conference. The king better come back, because the team is heading towards an even greater failure.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have a nice string of games that could put the team into the playoff picture. The team owns a record of 19-21 and is at the 11th seed of the conference.

Both teams struggled in the regular season, and we do understand the frustration that bugs players. Losses keep coming, and we cannot really tell if they will be able to go higher in the rankings.
