Watch: LeBron James Salutes Lonzo Ball After Completing Amazing Play On Offense

The Los Angeles Lakers played the Detroit Pistons last night, and Lonzo Ball had this awesome amazing play on offense.

During the second quarter of the Lakers’ game against the Pistons, the point guard crossed over two defenders and made a layup that brought joy to the Lakers bench. LeBron James was there, too. He could not resist the urge to celebrate Lonzo’s amazing play on offense. It was hilarious.

The Lakers lost seven of nine games, and he fanbase accused the young players. Lonzo was a common target, and fans criticized him for not being able to show aggressiveness and consistency on the court.

LeBron supports his young teammates

King James injured his groin in the third quarter of the team’s road win over the Christmas Day game against Golden State Warriors. The team is also playing without veteran point guard Rajon Rondo as he is still dealing with his hand injury.

The Lakers are eighth at the Western Conference with a 22-19 record. The team struggles to stay in the playoff race, but things do not look too brilliant for the Lakers. LeBron took them up to the fifth position in the conference, but his absence is not something the teammates can deal with.

Head coach Luke Walton was under fire, and many criticized him for the team’s failure to win games. He was even re-evaluated as head coach. Walton encouraged his players to give their best and rely on another leader on the court. LeBron will be out for a few more games, meaning the team will have to find the best solution to win in this situation.

The Pistons are on a two-game losing streak and own the ninth position in the Eastern Conference. The team has 17 wins and 21 losses.

The young Lakers better stand strong on their feet, because that’s the only thing they have at the moment.
