Klay Thompson Has Made Final Decision On Joining Lakers In Free Agency

There is almost zero possibility that LeBron James sees Klay Thompson on the team this summer. Thompson’s final decision will not be something the Los Angeles Lakers expected.

The Athletic’s Ethan Strauss reported on Klay Thompson and his plans, and he is more than convinced that the Golden State Warriors will re-sign the star player. That’s his final decision.

The Los Angeles Lakers created enough conditions to sign a huge name next summer. The good news is that many players will be available after the season.

Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Klay Thompson are available

Durant, Leonard and Thompson will sign worthy contracts at the end of the season. About half of the NBA players will hit free agency, and top teams are hoping to land at least one star.

The Lakers are looking for another superstar to play alongside King James in order to become contenders again. The team is targeting Durant and Leonard, but reports suggest that neither player will sign with LA.

That leads us to the possibility that the Lakers try to sign Thompson, and many pundits believe that he is the perfect match for LeBron.

LeBron took to his Instagram account his week and praised Thompson for his excellent performance against the New York Knicks.

The Lakers fans are already seeing LeBron and Thompson confronting other teams in the league.

Strauss said that Thompson will probably re-sign with the Golden State after he contract expires at the end of the season.

“While Thompson has indicated an interest in remaining a ‘Warrior for life,’ his return cannot just be taken for granted. Still, the expectation within and outside the Warriors is that Klay isn’t leaving. This is why you don’t hear about any teams besides the Lakers gearing up for the Summer of Klay,” he noted.

Thompson has already said that he wants to retire wearing the Warriors uniform. But, the Warriors are concerned about Durant and the fact that he will become free agent after the season.
