Watch: Cowherd Explains Why AFC Should Waive White Flag On Patriots

Colin Cowherd has just warned the NFL, suggesting that they have to defeat the New England Patriots while they still can.

Cowherd talked on his show, and commended the Patriots for their great win over the Los Angeles Chargers to get to the AFC Championship again. He also highlighted what is a creepy thought for the rest of the teams in the league.

“New England has 12 draft picks this year, six in the first three rounds. They’re going to reload,” Cowherd said in his opening segment. “This is the year to beat New England. This is the year. I watched Tom Brady this weekend. He didn’t look that old. This is the year to beat New England. You better do it now cause they’re stocking up with 12 draft picks, they’ll move off Gronk, get some salary cap space.”

Cowherd: This is the year to beat Pats!

Cowherd explained that this is the year to defeat New England, because it’s a down year for the players. He highlighted the roster turnover, the team’s efforts to replace free agents, the Brady-Belichick thing and the on-road struggles. Well, some haters would agree with Cowherd.

“If New England goes to Kansas City and wins this weekend — AFC, wave the white flag,” said Cowherd. “I mean, this is the most vulnerable that they’re ever gonna be. Because Tom Brady — I watched that game — did he look old? That’s as good as I’ve ever seen him play. I can’t remember a game where he was that efficient against that kind of personnel. Kansas City this week … at home, veteran head coach, mostly healthy, great head coach, extra day to prepare. Kansas City, you don’t beat them this weekend – 9 degrees, at home, MVP, healthy – you’re not beating them for a while, because this one is set up.”
