HOF WR Says Patriots Are Viable Landing Spot For Antonio Brown

There is a huge chance that Antonio Brown ends up in another team. However, acquiring him through a trade deal may be a huge bite for some teams. The Pittsburgh Steelers will try to convince themselves that trading Brown could not give them a fair return which would eventually result in pulling him off of the block entirely. However, they are viewing options that do not include Brown.

The Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers could get Antonio Brown, however Cris Carter believes that the New England Patriots are a much better destination for him.

“Antonio Brown is the type of player that’s a perfect trade for the New England Patriots. And as long as Tom Brady is there, the Pats are going to be in a ‘win right now’ mentality. New England is a viable landing spot for AB.”

Carter has the perfect explanation for Antonio Brown theory

Cris believes that the Patriots may acquire Brown because they have already traded for a troubled receiver. Troubled players are always playing great in Foxboro. That’s exactly what happened with Josh Gordon. The team did a mistake as Gordon was suspended indefinitely. Here is our question: Are the Patriots willing to take another risk?

The Broncos and 49ers have great first-round picks to add to the negotiations. New England will be picking 29th at best. We cannot really tell much about the Broncos’ interest in the Brown trade. One thing stands for sure, they will ask for more than New England is willing to give. The Steelers are trying to win the Super Bowl, and they would probably try to get a high pick.

There is almost zero possibility that the team sends its ultimate player to the rivals, right? The Steelers cannot stand the Patriots. So, no, that trade deal is not happening.
