Rob Gronkowski Makes Bold Statement About His Different Mindset In Patriots Postseason

Many said Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was blocking harder than usual in the AFC Divisional Round against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, it seems like there is a huge reason for that.

Rob Gronkowski explained about his role in the postseason, and it explains a lot.

“I mean, it’s the playoffs,” Gronkowski said. “It’s one and done. During the regular season and all, you know you have another game and that, but this is one and done every single play counts.

“Any play at any given time can boost your team into the next round and you see that happening throughout the playoffs too. You see it happen many different times throughout the playoffs, throughout the years that doesn’t happen during the regular season. Like, one little play there, one block there. You’ve got to be on top of your toes and bring it at all times.”

The New England Patriots are playing the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. The tight end had an excellent performance in Week 6, and it is more than sure that this was one of his greatest games ever.

The Rob Gronkowski story is not over yet

In Week 6, Gronkowski caught three passes for 97 yards in the team’s 43-40 win over the Chiefs. We do hope that he will play at the same pace on Sunday. This year was bad for Gronk, but he surprised haters in the Divisional Round. So we have every right to say that he will do the same thing on Sunday.

That will be one of the coldest games in the season. The New England Patriots are used to playing in cold weather, but we cannot say the same about the Kansas City Chiefs. Let’s see what happens in the championship game on Sunday.
