Watch: Sony Michel Barrels In For First Touchdown Of The AFC Championship

Many were doubtful about the New England Patriots and their AFC Divisional Round game. But, Tom Brady and his teammates had the perfect game ever, and won the team against the Chargers. This gave them tickets to Kansas City, and the Chiefs are already struggling with a headache. Sony Michel scored the very first touchdown for the team, and there’s one thing we would add: Let’s go!

After losing the coin toss, the Patriots took the ball and rushed down the field 80 yards on 15 plays which ended with Sony Michel barreling a 1-yard touchdown.

Sony Michel is awesome

The Patriot totaled 129 yards and three touchdowns in the Divisional Round match against the Chargers. The Chiefs were poor against the run all season, and it looks like the Patriots are trying to use that as an advantage in their plays. For the drive, New England rushed for 42 yards as a squad, and Michel tacked on 32 of them on 4.6 yards per carry and his score.

The running game was of utmost importance in the first touchdown of the AFC Championship, tight end Rob Gronkowski did a good job while being able to catch both of his targets for 19 yards. The tight end was a huge factor in the blocking game, and played a big role in Michel’s opening touchdown on the drive.

The Patriots are playing in their eighth consecutive AFC championship and are doing their best to make the fourth Super Bowl in five years. The winner of this match will play the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta. This is an important game for both teams, and we know they will struggle to score more points than their opponents. How will this end? Let’s wait and find out. Good luck, guys!
