LeBron James Trade Wish Hijacked As Shock NBA Side Enter Race

Carmelo Anthony is making his way to the Los Angeles Lakers. The veteran left the Houston Rockets and joined the Chicago Bulls. However, the Bulls will not include him in games, and they are already looking for other teams to get him. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed that Melo will not play for Chicago, and will probably go to LA. Will the Lakers eventually seal a trade deal?

Truth is, the Lakers are not the only team interested in signing a trade deal for Melo. The Athletic reported that the Miami Heat could destroy the Lakers’ hope of getting Melo, as they are super interested in his game.

The Bulls will probably trade or release the 34-year-old player before February 7.

Anthony averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds pet match and he was shooting 32.8 percent from three. Going to Miami is not really a good choice as they had too much rotation on the roster.

Miami has 13 players averaging at least 15 minutes per game, and there is almost no room for Melo. NBA pundit Stephen A. Smith believes that the veteran is a better fit in Los Angeles.

LA should trade for Melo

“In LA with Luke Walton’s system, the up tempo, with LeBron running the show, knowing his man, his man never playing with him, having something to prove. With all of that coming together in LA I think that’s the perfect situation for Melo.”

The Lakers are playing on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves (7.30m PST).

There is also a possibility that LeBron returns to action after suffering a terrible groin strain in the game against the Golden State Warriors. He has been recovering in the past weeks, and the Lakers could not really cope with his loss.

LA is ninth in the Western Conference with a 25-23 record for the season.
