Patriots Mascot Jamal Adams Tackled Hospitalized This Morning

Jamal Adams felt free to tackle the Patriots mascot during the Pro Bowl.

He probably did not even think that the Patriots mascot would end up in hospital. The NFL was not too excited about this incident, and Adams never meant to hurt the guy.

Patriots mascot was hit for fun

The safety faced a lot of negative reactions after he tackled the Patriots mascot. Many said he used too much force to “attack” the mascot. Yes, we know that Adams is a hard hitter, and maybe he even tried to restrain himself. But, that does not change the fact that the poor mascot received a hit.

“He [the mascot] was running around and everybody was booing him, so I said, ‘You know what? Let me go tackle him,’” Adams said. “I didn’t hit him that hard, man. All jokes aside, I didn’t hit him that hard. I don’t know what’s really going on, but they did tell me he’s in the hospital. My intention was never to hurt him. it was all about just a joke but I definitely want to check on him and make sure everything is good. At the end of the day we were out here just having fun and it wasn’t nothing intentionally to try to hurt the guy.”

During his interview with ESPN’s Dianna Russini, Adams did not sound as sorry. One thing stands for sure: Adams never meant to hurt the mascot. Unfortunately, he will have to face the consequences of his actions. Social media users are not too happy about this incident, and we do believe that people will talk about it for a while. The Patriots have not made an official statement regarding the incident. Let’s just wait and see what happens next. Is this safety in trouble? He sure is. Adams sort of attacked an innocent guy for no reason.
