David Ortiz’s Plain Reason Why Tom Brady Has ‘Many Years To Go’ In His Career

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady promised to play until 45, and he is trying really hard to keep the same pace. Well, it is not like he is trying that hard. The quarterback is playing his best football at the moment, and hateful comments have nothing on him. Brady is 41 at the moment, and we can just guess his final destination. But, David Ortiz believes there is one major thing that keeps Brady on the field.

Keep playing. That’s everything David Ortiz has to say.

The quarterback has a drop in his performance this season, but here he is today, making the eight straight AFC Championship Game. Brady has never failed his teammates, and he will never disappoint the Patriots nation. That’s what keeps him playing for this long.

David Ortiz feels Brady

Ortiz had a really long run of his own. He played his final season in Major league Baseball in 2016 at 40. But, you could see he was in pain during his final season with the Boston Red Sox. He was trying too hard. The lack of this pain is what keeps Brady out there. Well, that’s what Ortiz said during his appearance on WEI with Greg Dickerson and Lou Merloni.

“He’s never asked me that question,” Ortiz said, “but if he did I would be like, ‘Shut the hell up. You have many years to go still.’ Let’s keep one thing in mind. This guy takes care of himself better than anybody I have ever seen. The way this guy eats, they way he gets prepared, they way he physically takes care of himself.”

Nothing beats the fact that Brady is still the best quarterback in the league. He has not shown any signs of slowing down, and that’s good news for all the fans out there.
