Injures To Patriots Mascot Revealed After Jamal Adams Tackle

The New England Patriots will be playing Super Bowl LIII unbelievably healthy. However, one member of the squad is dealing with injuries. Pat Patriot or the Patriots mascot suffered jaw, neck and back soreness. He was even checked for a concussion after Jets safety Jamal Adams tackled him to the ground during a Pro Bowl practice as reported by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Everyone thought the situation was not too serious. However, everyone saw that Adams took a cheap shot to the Patriots mascot. Adams was signing autographs at practice on Wednesday in Florida. Fans were booing Pat Patriot, and Adams went straight at him.

Adams is not sorry for tackling the Patriots mascot

“He [the mascot] was running around and everybody was booing him, so I said, ‘You know what? Let me go tackle him,'” Adams said of the incident. “I didn’t hit him that hard, man. All jokes aside, I didn’t hit him that hard. I don’t know what’s really going on, but they did tell me he’s in the hospital. My intention was never to hurt him. it was all about just a joke but I definitely want to check on him and make sure everything is good. At the end of the day we were out here just having fun and it wasn’t nothing intentionally to try to hurt the guy.”

There were rumors suggesting the mascot was taken to a hospital, but the team’s spokesperson said that the person was not sent to hospital. However, he did seek attention.

“They are not happy with me right now,” Adams told ESPN’s Dianna Russini. “The NFL’s calling my phone, blowing me up saying that I put him in the hospital. I’ve got to go check on him and make sure he’s ok, but do I regret it? Noooooo!”

Well, that’s a typical response. The mascot tweeted, “Hate us cause they ain’t us.” That was the perfect response to Adams.
