Josh Gordon Calls Out Bleacher Report for Misinformation About Patriots Paying for Drug Rehab

Josh Gordon left New England hoping to work on his mental health. The National Football League brought a decision on his destiny, and Gordon was suspended for breaking the league’s drug abuse policy. Gordon’s story is not over yet, and the second round has something to do with the Bleacher Report.

Gordon has always been an interesting NFL character, and he sure made some of the greatest headlines. The last one includes him and Bleacher Report.

NESN’s Doug Kyed reported that the New England Patriots are paying for Gordon’s rehab, suggesting there is a big possibility that he returns to the game. However, Gordon himself said this was a story that falls under the category of “fiction.”

“The Patriots are paying for Josh Gordon’s drug treatment and a return to the team in the future is possible, per @dougkyed,” read the initial tweet by Bleacher Report.

Here comes Gordon’s response:

“Sorry guys but you got fed another false report. I appreciate the support as well as the criticism offered by your following but for future reference feel free to reach out to me or my representative listed via @NFLPA and we’ll help deliver as much info as we can… Thanks,” Gordon tweeted.

Did Bleacher report posted about Kyed’s story only for the former Patriot to deny it? That’s hilarious.

Gordon denies stories’ released by Doug Kyed and Bleacher Report

Kyed was positive about the fact that the Patriots are taking care of Gordon’s rehab in order to get him on the field as soon as possible. Gordon could not do anything but handle the claim himself.

The NFL has suspended Gordon in several occasions. His next ban will keep him away from the field for good. The Patriots could have used his help in the playoffs and Atlanta, but they are doing just fine without him.
