Lakers Told To Offer These FOUR Stars To Sign Anthony Davis

The Anthony Davis saga is still here. The Los Angeles Lakers are interested in signing the player, but the front office was told to trade four star players.

ESPN NBA expert Dave McMenamin said the team may have to trade Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart. The New Orleans Pelicans are not playing really well this season, and Anthony Davis is really frustrated as his team goes down the Western Conference.

The Lakers did not hide their interest in Davis. Will they manage to sign him? Signing Davis means giving up on four young players.

“It will have to be (Brandon) Ingram, Lonzo (Ball) and (Kyle) Kuzma. If not then Ingram, Lonzo, Kuzma and Josh Hart. They will have to empty the cupboards to get him but then that creates a new problem for the Lakers. Then they are stuck in the situation that Miami (Heat) were in and Cleveland Cavaliers were in. Then you are filling up the rest of the roster with veteran minimum contracts. That can be problematic but I think at would be a good problem for the Lakers to have,” McMenamin said.

The Los Angeles Lakers is interested in adding another star to help LeBron James challenge for the championship.

The trade deadline shuts down on February 7, and the team will have just a few weeks to build on the unexpected playoff spot.

“With LeBron they beat the Pelicans earlier this year and it was a close game. I think Ingram is the guy that could still do that. He is so young and his body hasn’t filled out, hardly at all yet. He has the length and the court vision and the athleticism to pull it together and make that next leap. But you have to get a team to buy into that to make a trade deal. It is not an easy proposition,” McMenamin said.
