LeBron James Injury Update Given By Head Coach – Lakers Fans Will Love This

The Los Angeles Lakers have not played with LeBron for over a month, and things went downhill since Christmas Day. But, head coach Luke Walton has some good news for pretty much every Lakers fan out there. It is an injury update.

Lakers head coach Luke Walton provided an injury update on LeBron James’ condition. He confirmed that the superstar player is back in full training. However, LeBron will not join his teammates on the floor in the game against the Phoenix Suns.

The Los Angeles Lakers struggled without LeBron, and the young talents were not talented enough to replace him on the floor. The team won just five games in his absence, and dropped to the ninth seed in the Western Conference.

Walton gives an injury update

The head coach refused to rush LeBron back into the quad, and said he will only play when he is ready to play. On Saturday, Walton said LeBron had returned to full combat training, and may return in near future.

He was a full participant in that, so it was good to see. He looked good. He’s still really good at basketball, in case you guys were wondering.”

The Lakers are playing the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night, and LeBron will miss that game. He will probably suit up for the game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.

Fox Sports pundit Chris Broussard said LeBron will need to carry the team back up to third seed in order to be named the NBA MVP.

“He’s [James] missed 15, I think if he’s going to win it, maybe if he’s incredibly spectacular and lifts them from ninth to third, and this goes beyond your usual LeBron 27-7-7,” Broussard said.

“I think he would have to be other-worldly in order to be named MVP, especially with James Harden doing what he’s doing. So I think it’s done. He’s going to have to be at his absolute career best and they’d better rise to third.”
