LeBron James Injury Update: Lakers Head Reveals Date As Star Misses Trip

Latest LeBron James injury update confirms that king James will not join his teammates on their trip for the upcoming match against the Utah Jazz.

The Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Detroit Pistons tonight, and that would be the team’s eighth straight game without LeBron James. According to the last James injury update, the king will not travel with his teammates on Friday. The team will wait for some time before the star player returns on the court.

Lakers head coach Luke Walton said LeBron will be re-assessed by the team’s medical department on Friday. Yes, he is not going on that trip.

LeBron James strained his groin on the Christmas Day groin against the Golden State Warriors. He had to watch his team lose five games, and that’s not actually something good.

Luke Walton made the official announcement

Local Lakers reporter Kype Goon reported on LeBron’s case.

“This might have been inferred earlier, but Luke Walton just confirmed that LeBron James is not traveling to Utah. He’s scheduled to have his medical re-evaluation Friday in LA,” he tweeted.

Sources noted that LeBron may be dealing with a hernia. In other words, he could stay out of the court for another month. Fans will have to wait for an update on his condition by the end of the week. The head coach better encourage his younger players to do their best and win tonight’s game against the Pistons.

Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball will have to play better than before. LeBron is out, and these three will have to make up for his absence.

“Big time response. Basketball and life is always about how you respond to negative things or bad outings and they did an excellent job, not only just Brandon and Zo, but Josh Hart came in, he had a bad game in Minnesota and then he was probably key to the game for us. All three of those guys really helped us and responded well.”
