LeBron Makes Huge Statement On Carmelo Anthony Trade

Many believe that LeBron James is the one who makes the coaching and player personnel decisions in every team he lands in. Some even say that LeBron is actually responsible for all of this, not the head coach and the front office.

LeBron signed with the Los Angeles Lakers this summer, and he is definitely not responsible for the head-coaching decisions in the team. The king suggested that the Lakers add Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee. However, Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka are responsible for the final decision.

Carmelo Anthony is a close friend of King James, and he is available to trade for. LeBron also said he would love to play alongside Melo. The front office did not say much about the 16-year veteran, and LeBron knows pretty much everything about it.

“I don’t know. I mean, listen, it’s just my opinion. But it’s not like I lit a fire in anybody’s ass. It’s just my opinion. People ask me questions, ‘Hey, how do you feel …’ and you know, I think it would it be great to have Carmelo Anthony be on the Lakers. I believe Melo can still play the game. I believe I can help Melo. I know Melo better than Melo knows himself at times, and vice versa. So if the opportunity presents itself I would welcome it. That’s what it all boils down to,” LeBron said during an interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols.
