LeBron’s Status For Thursday’s Game Against Clippers Revealed

Magic Johnson and pretty much everyone in the Lakers front office could not wait for LeBron James to join the team, and now he is giving them a terrible headache. LeBron James suffered a terrible groin strain that kept him away from the floor since Christmas Day. Some said he would return these days, but the team has provided an update on his status for the game against the Clippers.

The Lakers will confront the Clippers without their star player as reported by Tania Ganguli. King James will not join his teammates on that road trip, and that brought a huge disappointment to every Lakers fan out there. Everyone hoped that the king will hit the floor, but unfortunately, he will have to miss Thursday night’s game. This will be LeBron’s 18th consecutive game missed due to the strain he suffered in the game against the Golden State Warriors.

“The Lakers say LeBron is out for tomorrow’s game against the Clippers,” Ganguli tweeted.

Los Angeles lost the game against Philadelphia, and are now 6-11. LeBron’s injury had a terrible effect on the team’s overall status, and they are already low in the NBA rankings. Being outside of the playoff picture can never be good, and LeBron did not even think that things would develop this way.

The Clippers own the No.8 seed with a two-game lead over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lakers fans hope that king James would play after the initial reports suggesting that possibility. He practice this week and the team decided to rest him a little longer. LA will have to play without the star. Let’s not forget that seven of their next eight games are on the road, and that does not seem like a promising scenario. Let’s see what happens on Thursday night. Will the Lakers be strong enough to defeat the Clippers?
