Los Angeles Lakers Announce The Official Results Of Lonzo Ball’s MRI

The Los Angeles Lakers are plagued with injuries, and Lonzo Ball was the last player to suffer an injury. LeBron James and Rajon Rondo were placed on the sidelines, and Ball’s MRI confirms that he will have the same “luck” as his teammates.

The Lakers confirmed that their young player will miss four to six weeks due to his Grade 3 left ankle sprain. “Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball will miss 4-to-six weeks with a Grade 3 left ankle strain,” Shams Charania tweeted. The Lakers also did an MRI to reveal the extent of Lonzo’s injury.

The MRI provided a clear picture

The young player “earned” his injury in Saturday’s game with the Houston Rockets. Ball collided with James Ennis III in the third quarter. Things got that bad that Ball had to be carried off the court.

Ball was hurt himself earlier in the season in the game against the Denver Nuggets. However, that sprain was not too serious for him to miss gams. Unfortunately, he will have to stick to the sidelines for some time.

Before his injury, Ball was averaging 9.9 points, 5.4 assists, and 5.3 rebounds. He was shooting 32.9 percent from beyond the arc. The young player was the Lakers’ starting point guard this season because Rondo was injured. The veteran still recovers from his broken hand. The 2017 second overall pick did a really good job in running the team’s offense and the Lakers will have to engage different players to take that job until Rondo hits the floor again.

The game in Los Angeles seems to be going downhill. There are too many injured players, and the team is losing the names that have the greatest role on the roster. There are still so many trade rumors related to the team, and we will have to wait until February 7 to get more info.
