Los Angeles Lakers Projected Starting Lineup Vs. Clippers

The Los Angeles Lakers hoped that LeBron James would join his team in the battle against the Los Angeles Clippers. However, his groin strain will keep him away from the field a little longer. The Lakers did not have much luck against the Philadelphia 76ers. It is more than clear that the team cannot win without LeBron James. He needs to take his position in the starting lineup as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, things do not go in their favor. They will be playing the Clippers on Thursday, and the Golden State Warriors are next on the list. Playing without LeBron in the starting lineup will be hard, and the young talents will have to try really hard. Thursday night’s game is of utmost importance, as the team needs to start winning games. Here is the projected starting lineup for the game against the Clippers.

Rajon Rondo became part of the starting lineup last week. He came back in the perfect time. Lonzo Ball was injured recently, and the Lakers have the opportunity to replace one of their point guards with the other.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had the role of opening night starter at shooting guard for the team, but things changed a lot. January was a strong month, and he came back to the lineup.

Brandon Ingram is still part of the lineup, and he will sure stay there for a while. He is too valuable for the offense, especially now that LeBron is out. The Lakers cannot and should not risk giving up any of his time on the floor.

Kyle Kuzma missed several games due to his hip injury, but it seems like he will hit the floor this time. If he is unable to do so, Michael Beasley will sure step in.

Ivica Zubac played well alongside Rondo, and he is expected to play well on Thursday.
