New York Knicks Boss To Call On Huge Favor From Lakers’ LeBron

LeBron James may be of great help for the New York Knicks.

Knicks head coach David Fizdale will call in a favor from the king as the Lakers are taking on his team at the Staples Center. The Lakers are playing without LeBron.

Fizdale hopes to sit down with the king of basketball, and ask him to advise Kevin Knox. Fizdale took the position of assistant head coach at Miami Heat when LeBron played with the team. Now he is trying to talk with his former buddy and fuel the hopes of Knox.

“I’m all right anytime I don’t have to see (James). You always want to play against the best though. I’m wishing him to get back on the court as soon as possible. For now, I’m going to try to find a way to get him to talk to Kevin somehow.”

The 19-year-old player was picked ninth in the 2018 NBA Draft, and is already considered a star. It is more than certain that Fizdale will do whatever it takes to help Knox develop into an even greater star. Knox is also interested in being taught by LeBron.

“He probably is the greatest person to ever play the game of basketball. So it would be a great opportunity to talk to him. I know Fiz knows him from Miami. They won some Championships together. It would be a great opportunity. I’m a young guy, he came into the league young as well. I’ll be able to get a lot of tips from him as far as me growing up and getting better as a person and as a player. This is one of the games I was coming into the season really looking forward to playing. LeBron is one of the players I was really looking forward to playing this season. But unfortunately, he’s not playing, I’m pretty sure. He’s got a lot of years left. I’ll probably see him down the road,” Knox said.
