Nick Saban Shares Bombshell Details How Bill Belichick Relationship Helped Build Alabama Dynasty

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is one of the greatest coaches in NFL history, and Nick Saban knows that.

Saban and Bill Belichick have been friends for a really long time, and their friendship is well-documented. Saban was Belichick’s defensive coordinator with the Cleveland Browns for four seasons. He talked about their relationship and Belichick’s role in his career.

“Well, Bill’s a really good friend. And it started way back when I actually coached with his father at the Naval Academy in like 1981 or something, who was a great guy and a great coach. And I got to know Bill and we shared ideas in football. And I have a tremendous amount of respect (for) what he’s been able to do,” Saban said during his recent interview on ESPN.

“I don’t think there’s any question that he’s given more to me. I mean, I learned probably more when I was a defensive coordinator at Cleveland working under him for four years. Not just about football, but about the organization of having a good program and how to define the expectations for people in your organization so that they know exactly what to expect and exactly what you expected from them so that they could do their job well,” he added.

Saban and Belichick created strong dynasties in their world, and know how to build an organizational structure. The Alamaba head coach is trying to win his seventh national championship, and cement his career.

It will be nice to see the way these two organize teams in the next few years. Belichick has been really smart and powerful with the Patriots. The same applies to Saban. They are really successful, and we believe they will have the same luck in future. How will things work for the Patriots in the postseason? That’s still a mystery.
