Rob Gronkowski’s Brother Broke Silence About Patriots Star’s Post-Super Bowl Plans

We are having Super Bowl LIII on February 3, and pretty much everyone is getting ready about it. The Super Bowl is the ultimate game in the world of basketball, and this year we will see the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams fighting for the trophy. Every Super Bowl-related story is followed by a story about the retirement of tight end Rob Gronkowski. His brother came forward with a statement on this.

Gronk’s brother, Chris Gronkowski, talked about the tight end’s future, saying that his brother is still unsure about his career plans.

The brother gives a hint

“I think that’s a question that I don’t think anybody actually knows the answer to at this point,” Chris said. “There’s so many emotions going throughout a season, throughout an offseason, throughout a game. I think that’s probably the last thing on anybody’s mind right now. I couldn’t tell you. I don’t even think at this point that he knows what he’s going to do after this season.”

Chris is a former fullback for the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. He said that the criticism of Gronk has been unwarranted this year.

“If you actually watched him play throughout the year, he was crushing people all year,” Chris said. ” … His performance never went down. It was just his stats.”

The tight end finished the regular season with 682 receiving yards and three touchdowns while stacking another 79 yards in New England’s AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

When asked about his retirement plans in December, the tight end said, “I haven’t been thinking about that at all.”

Gronk has been part of almost every retirement rumor, but has yet to make an official statement on his future plans. The Patriot is really focused on the Super Bowl, and does not even mention the word ‘retirement.’
