Skip Bayless Releases Groundbreaking Statement On Tom Brady’s Greatest Achievement

A few football experts believe that 2018 was not Tom Brady’s best year. In fact, these guys are convinced that the TB12 has shown the very first signs of aging. Well, Skip Bayless has something to say about this.

Bayless says that the Patriots quarterback has similar numbers to his great season of a year ago, adding that Brady achieved his greatest success by bringing the team to the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

The GOAT won five Super Bowl titles, and Bayless’ comments sure give us something to think about.

“”This is easily the worst team that Bill Belichick has ever provided for Tom Brady — defensively, receiver corp-wise. It’s the worst supporting cast Brady has ever had in his 19 seasons,” he said.

Well, we know that many fans would agree with Bayless on this one. Head coach Bill Belichick created the least powerful team in recent memory. Josh Gordon gave the team some hope, but he is gone now. The Patriots had to work with Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, James White and Sony Michel. Gronk was injured most of the time, Edelman is 32, and Michel is just a rookie. Not the best squad you can think of, right?

The Patriots were not strong enough to defeat the Miami Dolphins in the Week 14 game. That win was one of the greatest things the team needed this season. Had New England been able to win that contest, the Patriots would have finished the season 12-4 and reached the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Brady finished the regular season with four touchdown passes in the 28-3 win over the New York Jets in Week 17. The Patriots earned their rest this week, and are getting ready for the AFC Divisional Round. It was not their greatest season ever, but they did a good job.
