Tom Brady Flying Entire Family To Super Bowl

Tom Brady loves his family. The Patriots quarterback enjoys the support of his wife and kids, and he is grateful for everything his mom, dad and sisters have done for him.

The Patriots have arrived in Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII. So Brady decided to take his family there. If you ask the quarterback, the Super Bowl is a nice excuse to bring the family together, and pretty much every member of his family is flying to Atlanta. It does not get any better than that. Brady’s mom was battling cancer, and she will be more than happy to see her son on the field.

TB12 went on WEEI’s Mut and Callahan on Monday, and talked how the Super Bowl is actually a reunion for his loved ones.

I’ll have a big crew,” Brady said. “If there’s one thing that sports has done for my family it’s kept us all seeing each other and a part of each other’s lives.”

The quarterback and his mom are really close. It was sad to hear about Galynn’s story and her struggle with cancer. The disease affected Brady’s game, and he told reporters how much it meant for his mom to attend the game.

“To have my mom here [in 2017] — I had my whole family here — was very, very special,” Brady said. “Even all my kids here for the first time at the game, and we get a chance to do it a second time. I hope it’s a happy ending.”

Family matters

Brady talked about his family in the send-off rally at Gillette Stadium.

“I was raised by a great mom and dad who were very important in my life, still are, and I think they taught me some really great lessons when I was a kid,” he said. “My mom’s – I think some of you guys have met her – she’s probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met in my life. I get a lot from her. My dad is very loving, empathetic and I get a lot from him. My family, my sisters were very competitive growing up. I got a lot from them. And then just being a part of some really great teams, I learned a lot.
