Watch: Bill Belichick’s Amazing Speech In Locker Room After Win Over Jets

Patriots fans were more than happy to hear head coach Bill Belichik talk about the win over the New York Jets in the team’s locker room.

The Patriots won the game over the Jets, and it was a small bite to swallow. The 38-3 score was the best thing that happened to the Patriots this season. This score was the perfect end of the season. New England clinched the AFC’s No. 2 seed and got another first-round bye. The head coach addressed the players after the game. Bill Belichick said the team, “won next week,” because the guys “won this week.”

The Patriots are happy to win this game. they will host the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers on January 13 in the AFC Divisional Round Game.

“Well, of course, it’s good to win another division game. By winning today, that kind of helps us win next week. As usual, a tough battle here with the Jets. I thought we were able to put together a couple of good drives there in the first half. Obviously, Kyle [Van Noy]’s fumble return was a big place for us and kind of gave us a little bit of a cushion there in the second half. I thought we played hard. We had a good week and were able to finish the game on a positive note. Looking forward to continuing to play and, hopefully, we can play our best football going forward. I thought the guys really played hard today, didn’t make a lot of mistakes, made enough plays to win. That’s a good thing,” Belichick said after the game.

“Yeah, I think these guys prepared really hard this week and we kind of – I mean, I know they were missing a couple of receivers there with Kearse and Enunwa, but it kind of put some pressure on us to figure out how to matchup against what they were going to do. They used multiple tight ends and they used the backs,” he said of the Patriots defense.
