Watch: Danny Amendola Surprises Young Fan Wearing His Jersey

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Danny Amendola never forgets his fans, and always finds time to give them the surprise of their lives.

There is a video of the wide receiver in which he walks behind a young kid who is wearing his Dolphins jersey. Yes, it was a young fan that adores Danny Amendola. The wide receiver got the fan’s attention and asked him about the player that’s actually wearing that jersey in real life. The whole thing ended with a handshake. So nice!

Miami fans love the former New England Patriot finished the first season wearing the Dolphins jersey. He has 59 receptions for 575 yards and a touchdown.

Amendola has been really busy in the offseason. He is surprising fans, and has enough time for his Miss Universe girlfriend Olivia Culpo.

He was great in Foxboro, but had to part ways with the team. “I’m going to be on the other side of the field. That’s it. I’ve played there before so I’ve had a lot of experience playing there. I’m excited to get back up there,” Amendola said at the time.

His former teammates missed him and his game. Tight end Rob Gronkowski shared a heartfelt message for Amendola.

“It was a honor playing with ya the past 5 years @dannyamendola Thanks for all the hugs and memories! Stay lit, Be FREE, Be HAPPY. Your hard work, the way you play at your size, the pain you fought through, the hits you take and get right back up talking shit back. I appreciated it all. Congrats. Enjoy Miami kid,” he wrote on Instagram.

Amendola is now wearing different colors, but he has nothing but words of praise for his former teammates. Now he is trying to build a career in Miami, and has already attracted the attention of Dolphins fans.
