The game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors was full of events, and JaVale McGee was the star of the game. The veteran held a nice speech to remind everyone of the importance of the Martin Luther King Day.

JaVale McGee delivers big speech

JaVale McGee surprised everyone with his decision to address everyone on the magnificence of this great day. This is a great holiday in the league that is socially conscious. McGee delivered a short speech that was full of emotions, and he made his point. He thanked fans for their love and support on that big day.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are different in so many levels. The Warriors entered last night’s game super healthy, and the Lakers are still plagued with injuries. Los Angeles had to play without LeBron James, Rajon Rondo and Lonzo Ball. The Golden State played without DeMarcus Cousins all season but he came back on Friday. The Lakers defeated the Warriors on Christmas Day, but the team was outscored four All-Stars to one.

In last night’s game, the Lakers had no All-Stars and faced five of them. Let’s not forget that the Lakers and other reams struggle to defeat the Warriors even at their best. Unfortunately, Los Angeles is in a bad shape at the moment, and they will need pretty much everyone on the roster to play their best. Miracles would happen only if the Warriors forget how to play basketball. But, that did not happen and the team lost the game.

Josh Hart replaced injured Lonzo Ball. He was joined by Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Tyson Chandler, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The Lakers got some shooting power, but the loss of their big players was felt during the game. Lonzo will miss 4-6 weeks, and that only adds salt to the injury.
