Watch: Julian Edelman Shares Hype Video Urging Haters To ‘Bet Against’ Patriots

The New England Patriots have embraced the “us against the world” mentality ahead of the AFC Championship match against the Kansas City Chiefs. The whole thing started past Sunday when quarterback Tom Brady said “People think we suck” after the big win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Kyle Van Noy smashed Max Kellerman, and now we have Julian Edelman on the big scene. The receiver posted a hype video.

Julian Edelman may be on his way out of the league, but he is not read to give up. Patriots and their fans have become really defensive, and we can see what is really happening. They are fed up with having doubters all around. The same goes with those who believe the team will fail in the AFC Championship Game. What does this hype video show?

Haters all around

“Tom said it, so I can comment on it — yeah, everybody does think we suck, everybody thinks we don’t have enough. But the only thing that matters is what we think in this room and we believe. When you have a whole group of guys that believes, it can be a special thing. So we have to keep playing, keep going hard,” Phillip Dorsett said.

“We’ve been hearing things like that forever now for a few years. So we just laugh at it, whatever they say, and we just keep moving forward,” tight end Rob Gronkowski added.

“We see it. We see our quarterback’s too old, we’re not good enough on defense, the skill players aren’t good. We see it, but it doesn’t affect how we prepare. We love practicing and we love playing with each other, preparing. We’re going to take advantage of that and come out ready to go no matter what,” McCourty added.

“It’s fine, people can count us out,” Chris Hogan said. “The guys in this locker room, we believe in each other, we believe in ourselves and our abilities.”
