Watch: Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Has Sharky Response To ‘Lasergate’ Controversy

The New England Patriots are making their way to the Super Bowl, and the NFL has started off an investigation regarding the laser pointer incident. It was a terrible story that emerged right after the Patriots’ win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Patriots owner Robert Kraft came forward with a reaction.

Yes, we have already been here. However, this time the league is not looking into the Patriots. Boston Herald’s Joe Dwinell reported that the NFL is looking into a report of the laser pointer that was aimed towards Tom Brady’s face in the middle of the game at Arrowhead Stadium. You did not read a lot about this, but Robert Kraft is definitely talking about it.

The owner went on “Good Morning America” and talked to host Michael Strahan  about the Patriots’ role in the Super Bowl. During the discussion, Strahan asked the Patriots owner about the league’s investigation nto the video showing the laser pointer.

“It does not happen when you come to Foxboro,” he said.

Robert Kraft gives an explanation

“I just hear the word ‘laser’ and I think of Tommy and his eyes. And that last drive, we had three third-down-and-10s, and he was laser focused. So, whatever it was, I think it was a positive influence,” Kraft said.

When it comes to “Lasergate,” the NFL is still trying to figure things out. Well, it is not like we believe the Kansas City Chiefs stay behind it. But, one thing stands for sure. Patrick Mahomes would have received a different treatment if someone pointed a laser pointer in his face in Foxboro. The Patriots have never ever had to deal with such thing.

Let’s see what happens in Atlanta. We do hope that the Patriots will not have to deal with anything like this. It is such a terrible thing, right?
