Why Nick Wright Believes Patriots Will Lose In Divisional Round

Nick Wright was not too impressed with the New England Patriots this season, and it seems like he will keep that opinion in the next few months.

The New England Patriots are all ready for the postseason, and they are having their first-round bye. Next week the team is playing the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens or Los Angeles Chargers in the Divisional Round game on January 13. The Patriots did not have much luck with Baltimore in the past decade. Tom Brady and the rest of the guys cannot forget the two playoff wins at Gillette Stadium in 2009. Nick Wright is convinced that the Ravens will go pass the Chargers and be the ultimate winner in January in Foxboro.

“I do not think the Patriots at home can handle the Ravens’ defense,” the host said on Fox Sports 1.

Baltimore may be strong, but choosing that team in this situation is sure a bold prediction. The leading factor in New England’s chances against Baltimore is Lamar Jackson. Inexperienced quarterbacks do not have much luck against the Patriots. The Ravens may be successful against Tom Brady and his teammates, but we can definitely say the same for the Patriots’ recharged defense against the inexperienced QB.

The Patriots-Ravens game can only happen if Baltimore takes care of the game against Los Angeles on Sunday. The Indianapolis Colts are playing the Texans in Houston, and Deshaun Watson is super ready.

Experts have their bets placed on the ultimate team. We can only make guesses at the moment. Maybe we should wait for the teams to challenge each other. Who is the best of them all? Will the Patriots have enough strength to finish the challenge? Is Tom Brady ready for the big game? So many questions, and so many bets… Let the game begin!
