Watch: Tom Brady Makes Groundbreaking Cameo In NFL100 Commercial

2019 will be an important year for the NFL, and it will mark the celebration of 100 years of the National Football League. This is actually a celebration of the players who had the greatest achievement in the game of football over the past century. It also honors the greatest players of modern football who will take the tradition into the next century. NFL100 is such a big deal, right?

Right after the end of the first half of Super Bowl LIII, the NFL released a two-minute commercial that involves top football players. I bet you can already guess some of the names. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell opened the gala, and the Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch decided to taste the cake that was right behind him. The golden football rolled straight to the ground. NFL100 is brilliant!

Everyone had their eyes on the rolling football. Chicago Bears great Mike Singletary called a fumble, and Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey went for it. Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh did the same thing.

Numerous players were included in the piece. Indianapolis Colts great Peyton Manning was one of them. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told the Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield to hold his rings as he stepped into the action.

There were numerous callbacks, too, including Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was on the spot, and Pittsburgh Steelers great Franco Harris did his thing.

The ad features division rivalries like the one of Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller and Kansas City Chiefs great Tony Gonzales.

According to Josh Peter of USA Today, this sort of describes how will the celebration develop. NFL Senior Vice President of Events Peter O’Reilly said it all.

“It’s really about the fun and the energy that’s around our game, and pulling that through in a way that brings the past players and current players together and celebrates them,’’ said O’Reilly. “We’re going to look back a lot. But it’s also, how do we drive into the future?”

The great add was directed by Peter Berg.
