Bill Belichick’s Message To Patriots After Super Bowl LIII Is The Best Thing You’ll Hear Today
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a man of few words, and he does not really talk much. However, Belichick made sure his guys get some motivation before the Super Bowl in Atlanta. It was a message that got the Patriots going.
Former Patriot and current NBC Sports Boston analyst Troy Brown talked to Tom Brady about the big win, and Brady used the opportunity to talk about the message his coach delivered.
“Coach said the best thing to us (Saturday) night,” the quarterback told Brown. “He said, ‘You know what we need (Sunday) night? Everything that you’ve given me all year.’ And he said, ‘You don’t have to do anything different than what you’ve already done.’ And he gave everyone a great sense of relief, you know? Just show up. Do your job. Play hard and play until the end. Fight for 60 minutes and that’s what we did.”
The Patriots usually rely on offense, but this time they played with defense. It was some old school football.
Belichick was absolutely happy about the success his team had.
“We have a lot of great people in the organization. It starts at the top with Robert (Kraft) and his family,” Bill Belichick said. “He’s given us great support in all the things we need to do to be competitive. Again, we have a great group of players and coaches that work extremely hard to compete the best we can. Happy that things worked out for us this year and we were able to be the best team in football this season. That’s hard to be in this league, but these guys earned it.”The Patriots had their parade in Boston today, and it went more than brilliant. The Patriots nation celebrated with their favorite team, and we all saw the Lombardi Trophy. Keep up the good job, Pats!
