Watch: Tom Brady Plays Catch With Reporter During Parade

Tom Brady and Julian Edelman were the stars of the Super Bowl parade in Boston, and the quarterback even played catch with WBZ-TV’s Steve Burton.

Playing catch with Steve Burton is a tradition. Brady did that after every championship win in the past years. TB12 locked eyes with Burton and played a quick game on Tremont Street.

The Patriots quarterback completed 21 of his 35 passes in Super Bowl LIII for 262 yards and an interception. This may not be his best performance, but the quarterback was great in the lone touchdown run of the game.

“It probably won’t sink in for a very, very long time,” Brady said after the win. “I’m just so blessed to play with the best teammates through the years from our ’01 team and all the way through now. I love all those guys. That’s what makes this special, man. It’s a brotherhood. All these relationships are so important in my life and I can’t cherish it enough. It’s going to be celebration tonight.”

Head coach Bill Belichick is proud of the guys and the Super Bowl win.

“We have a lot of great people in the organization,” Bill Belichick said of the Patriots leadership on Sunday. “It starts at the top with Robert (Kraft) and his family. He’s given us great support in all the things we need to do to be competitive. Again, we have a great group of players and coaches that work extremely hard to compete the best we can. Happy that things worked out for us this year and we were able to be the best team in football this season. That’s hard to be in this league, but these guys earned it.”

The Patriots will have enough time to celebrate their big success. And then comes the offseason.
