Not every company has the power to make a mind-blowing advertisement, and the NFL did that with its NFL100 commercial.
“The 100-Year Game” features past and present stars, and it was the best commercial to air during Super Bowl LIII. NFL100 was the best way to celebrate the league’s Centennial season in 2019. These two minutes were filled with pleasure and excitement.
The commercial was a real hit. It won USA Today’s Ad Meter for Super Bowl LIII, and became even more popular after it was first released. The NFL posted a behind-the-scenes video. We get to watch a few extra scenes, and it was super exciting.

It was a
rather surprising project, but no player wanted to end up on IR with injuries
from the shoot. There were serious precautions about it, and each player was
given a chance to execute the stunts safely. Christian McCaffrey and Ndamukong
Suh dove into large pads instead of going for the football.

Peter Berg of Friday Night Lights directed the commercial. He has done this before. Berg was director of Verizon commercial in which Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn thanked first responders who helped him stay alive after the car accident in 2005.
