Julian Edelman Shares Heart-Melting Message To His Daughter On Valentine’s Day

Julian Edelman was named the Super Bowl MVP, and that was the crown of his hectic year. The receiver returned from torn ACL, became a father and was hit with a four-game suspension. Not bad, huh? Well, the best part was probably his daughter as Julian Edelman loves her from the bottom of his heart. Here’s what he said on Valentine’s Day.

It’s Valentine’s Day and Edelman shared the cutest pic ever. He took to Instagram to post a photo of him and the baby girl.

“The only flower I want on Valentine’s Day,” the caption read.

Well, the baby girl changed his life in the most brilliant way ever. Julian says it made a huge difference, and we can feel that.

“One hundred percent,” Edelman said when asked if his daughter made a change. “When you become a pa, you have different priorities now and you’re not living for yourself, you’re living for someone else now. It’s pretty cool to go out and experience success and having your little human that’s just running around saying “Da-Da” that doesn’t know anything is going on. She’s like a little good luck charm. It’s unbelievable when you get to see her after a game. The feeling has changed. My whole family’s been a part of my road with how close we are and to welcome her in, it just makes it bigger and better.”

“It was tough,” he said of 2018. “You’ve got mixed emotions. You’re happy your teammates are there. You’ve seen some of these younger guys come in as rookies and develop big roles and make big plays to get to the Super Bowl and you’re excited for them but then you also have a hurt feeling because you’re not playing. That’s kind of how you feel but that was last year and this year I’m thinking about the Los Angeles Rams.”
