LeBron James Already Preparing To Become NBA Owner

LeBron James is one of the brightest stars in the world of basketball. He has got the skills and the perfect mindset to become owner of NBA team. Moreover, he likes the idea of becoming one.

LeBron has used the help of those who love and support him to get this far. He would gladly accept the top role in any NBA franchize. Becoming an owner in the NBA would be the cherry on top.

 “It takes a special situation, a special player, to become an owner,” Magic Johnson said. “Not only do you have to make a lot of money, which LeBron checks that box, but you have to be very intelligent. He checks that box. Personality-wise, you need to have respect, not only of the players and the owners and (NBA commissioner) Adam Silver, and you need charisma. LeBron has all those boxes checked. You also have to understand what it takes. You have to have a game plan and a strategy for how you’re going to do it (become an owner).”

Magic is convinced that LeBron has the right ego, experience and reputation to become an owner.

“I feel like my brain as far as the game of basketball is unique and I would love to continue to give my knowledge to the game,” he explained. “And I would love to be a part of a franchise, if not at the top. My dream is to actually own a team and I don’t need to have fully hands on. If I’m fortunate enough to own a team, then I’m going to hire the best GM and president that I can. “But I have a feel like I have a good eye for not only talent, because we all see a lot of talent, but the things that make the talent, the chemistry, what type of guy he is, his work ethic, his passion, the basketball IQ side of things, because talent only goes so far.”
