Family Who Hosted A Patriots Parade Receive Groundbreaking Surprise From The Pats

The New England Patriots won their sixth Lombardi Trophy, and celebrated the big win during the championship parade. Boston was the place to be after Super Bowl LIII.

That was not the only parade that was organized after the Super Bowl. There was another cute event at a local assisted living home. The residents at The Arbors in Winthrop paraded around the area to celebrate the win. They were wearing their Patriots attire. On Friday morning, the celebration was upgraded with a huge surprise.

Pat Patriot, a group of cheerleaders and the Lombardi trophy were right there at The Arbors. The residents made sure they get autographs from their visitors. Yes, they even took pictures with the trophy.

The Arbors Activity Director Heather Madden said the parade was organized with the only goal to boost the excitement the residents had before and after the Super Bowl.

“It was so fun,” she said. “The excitement for them, it is something out of the ordinary. People that don’t normally come out to activities had people bring them shirts and participate. They were just very excited.”

The parade went on

The staff knew that the Patriots are visiting their fans, and the whole thing turned into a chaos. A chaos of happiness and joy. Heather has never ever seen anything like that before. The area was decorated with a banner, balloons, homemade photo booth props and a few other things to welcome the winners and their sixth Lombardi trophy.

“I’ve been doing this for 17 years, and I’ve never had anyone excited about what we do, not to this level,” Heather said. “The level of excitement and to actually honor us by having the trophy here is just huge.”

That’s how you celebrate a big win. Hopefully, the guys will get another chance to celebrate next year. Let’s wait and see that.
